We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email), trip preferences, and any content you post. We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, searches made, and device/browser type.
We use your information to provide and improve the Davai service, personalise your experience, generate AI trip recommendations, facilitate guide bookings, and send you relevant notifications and updates.
Trip plans and location preferences you enter are used to generate itineraries and surface relevant guides and routes. We do not track your real-time GPS location. Trip data is private by default unless you share it to the community.
Davai uses Claude (Anthropic) for AI itinerary generation. Your trip prompts may be used to improve our service, but we do not share identifiable personal data with third-party AI providers for their training purposes.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Davai (Supabase for database, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI), all under strict data processing agreements.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Trip data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact privacy@davai.co to exercise any of these rights.
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with Row Level Security. We regularly review and update our security practices.
