Just completed the first 3 stages with Marco (highly recommend!) and the conditions are absolutely perfect right now. Snow completely clear above Passo Sentinella, rifugios not too crowded yet.
After three attempts over two years, we finally linked it all together. 23h 41min car-to-car. The crux on pitch 22 was where it all nearly unraveled — strong winds forced us to bivouac at Camp IV.
Did this completely self-supported with camping gear in the bow and stern hatches. The fjord walls rise 1,200m straight up — you feel tiny in the best possible way. Wildlife was unreal.
If you think the TMB is just for hikers, think again. On a gravel bike with light bikepacking kit, this route is absolutely wild. The descent from Col de la Seigne with Mont Blanc in full view is one of the greatest moments of my cycling life.
